The Söldenkogel is Sölden's local mountain and is accessible in both summer and winter.

Furthermore, the Söldenkogel is one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in Sölden, even though it is not quite one of the 3000m.

The view from the Söldenkogl down to Sölden and the amazing view of the peaks of the Ötztaler Alps rewards the strenuous ascent.

The ascent can be shortened by taking a taxi to the Kleble Alm or Fiegl's Gasthaus.

    Walking time:

    • from Kleble-Alm (1,983 m): 3 hours, return 2 hours
    • from Fiegls Gasthaus (1,956 m): 3 hours, return 2.5 hours

    Author’s recommendation
